“We are excited to unveil our change from NWF Realty and Management to NWF Management” says the Director of Operations. “The name NWF Management embodies our mission to focus on the quality of managing our homes, townhomes and condos. When we were originally founded, our founders did not want our name to hinder our growth into other segments of the market. However, after developing relationships with all of our clients, we have realized that the best way to exceed their expectations is to strive for perfection in managing their units.”

New Office in the Prestigious Grand Boulevard Office Park

We have just relocated our vacation rental headquarters’ office location! We are now located in the prestigious Grand Boulevard at Sandestin® right across from the Howard Group. Our new address is 215 Grand Boulevard, Suite 101. Miramar Beach, FL. This location allows us to be in an optimal space situated between Destin and 30A to effectively manage our current rentals and allow the opportunity for further growth. Our office is located just outside the gates of the Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort and is a stone’s throw away from many of the city’s best vacation rentals.

Our previous space was not large enough to hold a conference room, we now have a large professional space in which to conduct meetings with our clients. We plan to decorate the space in a simplistic, modern sense to optimize efficiency, encourage productivity, while adding a pleasing aesthetic value to the space.

Our proximity to neighboring businesses should give us a good opportunity to grow. The Howard Group across the hall is a development and management company with notable accomplishments. They have facilitated the construction, oversight, and management of numerous projects which are now hallmarks in the Northwest Florid area. Some of these projects include the Silver Sands Outlet Mall and Grand Boulevard itself.

At the moment there are prospective business that we will be sharing the suite with such as the Charity Wine Auction, a realty company, and a consulting group headed by the late heads of the Sandestin® Resort. These businesses should help us in streamlining our marketing and management practice, further our opportunity for brand awareness, and facilitate referrals to potential clients.

If you have been reading our recent blog posts, you will have noticed that our featured Destin vacation rental on April 30, 2012 was Unit #321 in St. Martin Beachwalk Villas. This unit is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is located inside the family friendly condominium complex, St. Martin Beachwalk Villas in Destin. Well, the other day I was searching through Google to see what other websites had written about the complex and I found one written by the Destin Vacation Guide.

I felt that their article was spot on. They discussed many of the key points that make St. Martin Beachwalk Villas in Destin a hidden jewel. So, this is sort of a continuation of our featured vacation rental, we decided to share a little bit of what the Destin Vacation Guide wrote.

“St. Martin Beachwalk Villas is one of Destin’s best kept accommodation secrets. It is located on the beachside of Hwy 98 and has a private walkway to one of Destin’s sugar white beaches. Many vacationers in Destin overlook St. Martin Beachwalk Villas because it is not located directly on the Gulf and because the condominium complex cannot be found easily in Google.”

They then went on to write, “St. Martin Beachwalk Villas is located directly across the street from Big Kahunas Water Park. Restructured Website For More User Efficient Pages

Last week we sat down and reevaluated how users interacted with our website. During our reevaluation we discovered a few areas that we could improve on. These improvements will allow our users to find more meaningful content in a more efficient way. We also realized that we had pages with duplicate content, so we decided to 301 redirect all of the duplicate content pages. Here are a few examples of how we reorganized our content.

When our website was originally developed, the developers did not use very efficient url names. We realized this about a month ago and went through and changed the names of these pages. However, we forgot to delete or 301 redirect these pages. This meant that our website had duplicate content. So, a few days ago we went through and 301 redirected all of these old pages to the new appropriate page. To illustrate the point, the developers originally created pages with the url manser.php for the management services page, pfr.php for the properties for rent page and pfs.php for the vacation rental page. These urls were not user or search engine friendly. So, instead we 301 redirected all of these pages to managementservices.php, browse-long-term-rentals.php and browse-vacation-rentals.php.

We also wanted to help our users with more relevant content, so we created pages that allow our users to search for long term rentals and vacation rentals by area. The pages have a brief description of the area and then the rentals for that area. We created a long-term Destin Rental page, a long-term Santa Rosa Beach Rental page & a long-term Niceville Rental page. Then, for our vacation rentals, we created a Destin Vacation Rental page, a Blue Mountain Beach Vacation Rental page and a Grayton Beach Vacation Rental page. Soon, we will be adding to this listing and will create a Rosemary Beach Vacation Rental page and a Seaside Vacation Rental page. These pages will allow our users who want more information on the areas, to find that information and make the correct choice.

Things To Do While Vacationing in Destin

Destin Experience, commonly referred to as The Official Guide to Destin recently wrote a recent blog post named “Top 5 Things To Do in Destin”. In their post, Destin Experience mentioned that the #1 thing to do in Destin is Spend the day at the beach, #2 is Go fishing, #3 is Sunset/dolphin cruises, #4 is Stroll the HarborWalk and #5 is Take a drive on 30A.

We couldn’t agree more. Destin is a perfect vacation destination and has natural beauties that are second to none. Destin offers its vacationers white sand beaches, sunny days, warm weather and an abundant of land and water wildlife.

At Destin’s beaches, you can go snorkeling, swimming, kayaking and many other adrenaline seeking activities. If you decide to go snorkeling, Destin offers a large variety of tropical fish. If you want to partake in Destin’s adrenaline seeking activities, try kite boarding or surfing. Both of these sports can be ventured into by the novice or the expert. If these are too much adrenaline, try kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. You can do both of these activities in Destin’s harbor or on Destin’s beaches.

Destin also offers world class fishing. As Destin Experience mentioned, Destin is referred to as the World’s Luckiest Fishing Village. In Destin, you can catch wahoo, mingo, mackerel, shark, snapper and blue marlin. You also have a large variety of options when fishing in Destin. You can do private or party boat charters and inshore or offshore fishing. Each of these offer something that will be very rememberable and enjoyable.

If you don’t want to go fishing, but you want to get out on the water, try one of Destin’s sunset or dolphin cruises. These cruises can be enjoyable for the whole family or can be perfect for a romantic getaway. For a romantic evening, take a sunset cruise on one of Destin’s sailboats and bring along a small dinner with a bottle of wine.

Although Destin offers some of the worlds most beautiful outdoor scenery, be sure to take some time away from the water and go shopping. Destin has plenty premier shopping venues that are sure to satisfy. A few of the places that we would recommend are the HarborWalk Village, the Destin Commons, Sandestin Factory Stores and Grand Boulevard.
